This is my neice and my brother, her father. Her grandmother gave her a tiara and she just had to have it on RIGHT THEN! And of course, daddy had to do it.
Crop, sharpen, desaturate, contrast, levels. One little spot edit on a freckle on her cheek.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their comments!
Honestly, if, at the moment this happened I had said, "WAIT! I need to change lenses! And move the right! And turn on more lights in here! I think the moment would have passed. And I think my neice would have been upset. I could have cropped some of the left off, and looked at it that way, but it upset the balance of the image.

Again, thank you all for your comments - they are appreciated!

The back of daddy's head and ear occupy far too much of this image.

Interesting composition, I'm curious to see how this does

its a good capture, though I feel as though the girl should have been in sharper focus.

a little too soft, and low contrast (there are no blacks)

The image definitly captures a mood. I would have liked to see this shot taken a bit more from the side, as to capture the Dad's face as well.

Excellent shot, her facial expression is great

nice image ...the hair around the right eye is a bit of a distraction ...like the black and white

Focus is a little off, and I suspect a bit of motion blur. A slightly wider angle, and more perspective, showing the little girl, would have made this photo much better IMO.

Very cute interaction, a great catch. Some people might say crop off some of the right, but I think it's perfect as is. nice dof & blurring on all but the subject. [9]

Shame it's not sharp enough/ in focus. Could do with perhaps a little more contrast.

A little too out of focus for me. Excellent perspective, though.

would not have put a blurry dad in the foreground.

Nice details on the eyes, but I'm reckoning the rest of the image has a too-soft feel, and the blurred tiara is a serious distraction.

Mabye less of his head and more of her. She is so cute and we don't see enough of her. I realize he is placing the crown on her head but the composition is weak in this shot. I do like the b&w and the light is also okay.

i like this shot quite a bit, but i wish her face were less obscured. focus is pretty soft as well.

Daddy, just move to the left.....we need to see more of this princess with slightly sharper focus to have more of an impact IMO. BUT, a special moment for you !

a little too blurry; as the omposition, either seeing or definitely not seeing her right eye would have been better.

Nice photo. Uncertain DOF, seems to rob this photo. Plus being in Black and White kind of draws away from it. Not sure where the focus is at, possibly the tip of the nose. Motion blur on the Terra is detracting, but a nice touch. her smile is genuine, but a tad uncertain(artistically speaking). 7.

I like the idea, but the composition is cluttered and lacking "WOW"

Love the look on her face, but the picture seems too soft to me.
