LOL
We were there! Went on Sunday - and live only about 10 minutes away! Nice shot - I took a couple as an after thought. Not nearly as good!

Great sharp and softness, too bad the cros are a bit fake but I guess the scarecrow did it's job right?

i wouldve loved to see this with less tree and more sky just so you can focus on the main objects a little more

I can't say i get a real feeling from this image. I agree the scarecrow has a happy face, but the image isn't 'strong' enough for me.

Cute scarecrow. I have a fondness for them, since I'm an avid gardner. It leaves me wanting to see more sun on the scarecrow or trees though.

Personally I don't see mood here. It could be argued of course. This is one happy scarecrow! Your shot is a bit dark. You can try levels adjustment, I think that would help here.

Placement a little too-centered (rule of thirds?)

Although I don̢۪t say this is a bad picture I have scored this low.
Low in my book is not extremely low, but I guess there will be other people thinking the same way I do who don̢۪t leave a comment.
Don̢۪t take this the wrong way, this is my own opinion, and I am trying to let you understand what some voters may think.

In my opinion this does not meet the challenge, the description of the challenge: Take a picture that captures an emotion.
I looked hard, but I don̢۪t see an emotion. This could be my fault, but that̢۪s the reason why I voted lower as I would normaly do.
