It took me a second to realize what the larger, smoother section of rocks was. B&W works well here.

This shot is very clearly in focus...good job! I think that I might like to see the face turned the other way, with the nose pointing down towards us. It just seems like that might lead the eye better. And at first I thought I might like to see it in color, but after looking more, the lighting comes out so nicely with the black and white. And you have good contrast as well.

wrong way up I think Maybe it would be better the other way up but very good composition

Who allowes you do do stuff like that to him/her, a bit darker might have worked with the face whiter. Absolutely fantastic idea though;-)

Would work better for me if the face was the other way around. A little too high contrast for me, I'd have prefered some fine detail.

An incredible capture, hindered only by focus.

Amazing staging! WOW what that must have felt like! LOL Nice job, although I feel like the image is upside down. I (personally) think it would exhibit more quickly and clearly if the face were "right side up". (7)

I starred at this for a good 30 seconds and did not get 'calm under pressure'... to me it seems more something about multitudes, scattered pices, coming together, differences, etc.

Interesting photo. Would like to have seen more of the face though.

Very creative, maybe better to crop a bit tighter, not much going on in the bottom part of the image.

very nice idea, but it might be more effective with a 180 degree turn, face not upside down, and perhaps more stones beneath the face. 6

I like how the child(?) is facing AWAY from the camera. the light is a tad harsh, but I like this.

love this - had to look for a while b4 i 'got it'. IMO would have helped if you somehow gave the face more emphasis, maybe selective desat or less contrast on the surface texture.
