The rock really sets the picture off and makes it stand out.

Since this challenge used advanced editing rules, I probably would have cloned out the branch that's sticking out of the water just right of center. I like the image, but I'd describe the mood as "calm". Solitude, in my mind, implies that some animal or person should be here enjoying the calm.

Melancholy serenity. Very evocative and well composed photo.

Looks like a nice place to fish early in the morning, or maybe just sit and contemplate. Keep up the good work!

Not the kind of "mood" I am looking for in this challenge.. but it's a nice landscape.

Wonderful mood. Wish the edge of the water was straightened though. Great muted colours.. Foreground vegetation works well.

Although I don̢۪t say this is a bad picture I have scored this low.
Low in my book is not extremely low, but I guess there will be other people thinking the same way I do who don̢۪t leave a comment.
Don̢۪t take this the wrong way, this is my own opinion, and I am trying to let you understand what some voters may think.

In my opinion this does not meet the challenge, the description of the challenge: Take a picture that captures an emotion.
I looked hard, but I don̢۪t see an emotion. This could be my fault, but that̢۪s the reason why I voted lower as I would normaly do.
