Greets from the Critique Club!
Hi Nathalie!
Initial Impression:
Circles, colour, and water.. Good combinations.
Challenge:
I can see the connection to Pi with the circles, but just the circles themselves don't say "Pi" to me.
Composition:
Not much I can say here, it's a well done abstract. I like the combination of the water droplets and the colour circles. That adds a lot of impact to the photo.
Technical/Post-processing:
The lighting is superb, very good detail on the cloth surface and a no really distracting reflections on the water droplets. I think I would like to see just a tad more saturation in the colours, but that really is personal preference.
Overall:
Very nice abstract shot, but the tenuous connection to the challenge may have contributed to the low score.

| I can't work out whether or not I like this background. It does set off the water drops nicely, but the texture is distracting. The composition of this is nice for an abstract photo - just varied enough to bring your eyes down to that large drop on the bottom right, but still with a sense of disorder. Interesting idea. |

| Really intriguing. Pi certainly has to do with circles, though I wish there was a clearer or perhaps more overt connection or dissection. Difficult to communicate: though pi has everything to do with circles, circles don't necessarily mean pi and something telling me that these circles were communicating strictly pi would help this image meet the challenge better. Still, I like it and give it good marks. |

| Interesting abstract. I'm not sure what it has to do specifically with pi, but I think its a pretty good pic. Unique and creative. Looks like a good wallpaper pattern. |

| great idea that you've entertained here, lots of color, good imagination, but for some reason to me, everything seems blurry and out of focus. Did you do this on purpose? Because if you didn't you just lost points. . .if you did, sorry. |
