I was torturing my cousin during this shoot. She will probably hate me forever...
But this is what I wanted this photo to look like, and I must say I am happy with the result.

pp is rotate, crop, resize, levels, neatImage, contrast.

I can't believe this placed so low!
After a cruise through the comments, though, I see that you may have been the victim of dim monitors. I really wish folks would check their calibration before voting!

This would have looked less like an upside-down camera and you standing on the floor if your legs were bent somewhat at the knees. Textures or bright lights streaking past in the background would also have helped with the illusion.

Yes, that's exactly what it feels like. Simple concept so well done!

It took me a moment to get this. I like the idea.

This is an interesting shot. I had to look at it for quite a while to actually recognize the person "falling". It's a good thing you had the title, because otherwise I would have wondered why you dream of touching your toes and flipping the picture upside down :-) Thanks for making me think - and for making me realize I should spend longer looking at the images!

for blurred shots to work IMO you have to be able to identify the subject

Too indistinct for my eyes. The concept of falling is a good one for dreams, captivating our fears of falling, but this photo lacks clarity of focus and design to support the fears.

First thought ... what the ...?
Probably a bit too much oblivion for me. The blurs on the light areas are very nice, but there's too little of them.

The images is diffucult to make out and thus will likely score a bit lower as it takes time to put this together and make sense of it. Now that I have done so, I am bumping up.

I don't see much in this image, maybe a pair of jeans hanging on a line?

This is my second go-around =) - very nice abstract photo! I would only recommend that her legs not be cropped out of the photo because it looks more like she's hanging/suspended than falling.

I really love the motion of this image, the dreamy softness and the subtle/limited color pallette...the lighting is perfect for what is being portrayed, somewhat strange...almost supernatural/ethereal....wonderful tension...an image we should be able to relate to..very well done.

I think I can grasp the concept you were going for from the title. However without it I would have no idea what I was looking at. There's a strong chance it has a little to do with my work monitor. The image is almost all black. There are a few strange colored shapes. After a few minutes I was able to figure out that what i was looking at was blue jeans and some hands. I feel that you were on to a great idea but it lost all of its substance in the darkness.

This is one of the few submissions that I have seen that most likely 'actually' depict a dream. Great job!

Great sense of falling. Motion looks like it going up instead of down. Blurr lengths. 8
