 April 30, when this was taken, is the night there are bonfires all over Sweden to celebrate the coming of spring (although the reality is it's a big drinking night until the first of May). This was taken at our cabin, where we used the bonfire as a wonderful excuse to get rid of all our brush.
Cropped, applied very slight curves, USM, and a border.

very very intense...the details of the falmes center and left are great...maybe cropping off the not so sharp ones on the left may have helped???? all and all terrific

wow. the flames are not crisp, but that adds extra punch to this delivery. They look silky smooth, almost wet with orange.

Good shot of the flames. It might have also been good to be farther away so you could see the whole bonfire against the night.

fire is a fun and possible painful thing to shoot. (I did one of a bond fire and adjusted the tones to close to b/w and got a really cool effect.) Nice shot, nothing blown out or blurry. Good shot and good luck

Pretty cool, one of the better fire photos I have ever seen so I like it but still not jaw droppingly awesome but I love the texture and colour in this shot. Gave it an 8.
