To be honest, I got it in an email. I think it is a series of still shots that are put together to make an animation. I believe that PS will let you do this with images.

yea there are programs likes this to animation. Most likely it was a short clip already ...
... but this particular one has been around for A LONG TIME now. I see it everywhere, especially in LiveJournals and the site called MySpace.

This is genius....who needs enemies when you've got friends like this! May I ask how you do this...is there a prgramme to covert short pieces of video or a sequence of pics into such a GIF animation.......check out Langdon's page for a great rotating globe GIF. Ben.
