Gorgeous. I won't be surprised if this wins, unless people judge it to be off-topic for some reason. I love the cloud textures and the colours. Great composition and perfect silhouette. 10 from me. |

I had the same reference, but had to make do with a fake version...can go back for this week's weather shot too! |

One of my favourites this week. Great colour-tone, focus and cropping. Traditional composition works fine here. Very well done. Good luck! |

I really like the color of the sky. When I saw the thumbnail thought maybe too dark. Seeing the larger version I like how dark it is, It gives it a creepy, mysterious feel. 10 |

My ancestors came from Exeter, which is, I believe, just south of Stonehenge. I like this photo because this site uses pi in at least two ways: we all know that it is circular, and successfully demonstrate pi in a few of the rock formations. I like the high contrast, which enhance the pi sillouettes, and the clouds above are a wonderful source of mood. |

Excellent shot. the pi symbol is there and the inference of the Stonehenge circle are clear to me. Lovely colors and silhouette. |

Wow.. I really really like this shot. The red tone gives an otherworldly feel to it. The connection to Pi is rather tenuous. Still 7. |

I was hoping we'd get one of these--I'd have done it myself if I weren't thousands of miles away. The skyline adds to the "mystery" of the place. 9 from me. |

Critique from Kavey
Initial thoughts
Very atmospheric. Slightly too pink.
Composition/ Content
I like the inclusion of a lot of sky Γ’ and that the actual subject is situated only in the lower third. Although I know how large the stones are, this reminds me of how small they are too when viewed on a different scale. It feels like they are shrinking away from the weather.
I would prefer to have a view that showed me more arches and less blocks Γ’ that would make the composition more interesting as well as reflect the challenge more strongly.
One idea would be to take a similar picture of just one arch Γ’ with same background and same positioning in lower third, but portrait.
Background
Great feeling of oppression in the clouds. Too pink for me.
Camera Work - Technical
Seems fine. Hard to tell.
Digital Processing - Technical
Seems fine, too pink.
Fits The Challenge
Yes, though not as obviously as it could.
My Opinion On The Photo
I like it but itΓ’s not a favourite.

Great sky! I wish the angle couls have captured the structures a bit more head on - since they are so dark it is a bit hard to see the formations. Overall pretty good - would have liked it a bit lighter in the bottom. = 6 |

Definitely a structure with lots of "pi" symbols. I was hoping someone would be able to enter this for this challenge. I couldn't get a plane ticket fast enough (LOL). I like the moody, supernatural look you created with the filter. Well done. |
