 Taken in a public garden area in Dallas. Combination of shade and natural sunlight. With the flowers, shrubs and trees in bloom, there was so much beauty to take in. It was difficult making a decision which of the subjects I would enter in the Challenge.

nice composition.. brilliant colors. a bit out of focus.. it appears that the leaves have more focus. This is generally a nice image though.. keep it up!

very nice colors of the berries and the leaves. focus is just fine, lighting is okay, bit of a flashback off the berries, color is interesting and impressive.

This has a lot of bright color. I like how the grapes all have a shiny looking effect to them. Nice image.

I like your use of color here and the composition is effective. I think you might have a bit too much depth of field here but it isn̢۪t too big of a deal. The main thing that I think could be improved is the lighting. It appears to me that you used the on-camera flash for this one. The reason I say that is that the lighting appears to be very harsh and unnatural on the berries. I think opening up the aperture and diffusing the light would help this picture a lot. I know that you might not have used the on-camera flash for this one and it might just be the harsh afternoon sun at play, but in any case I think you should try to soften up the light. You could place a tissue over the flash or make a diffuser and hold it between the sun and the subject to achieve this effect. I think that if you try something like this you will be very pleased with the results. I gave this one a 5.

I am a big purple fan, so I really like this picture. The green and purple together, really makes this photo stand out.

Really good colours - rich and lush; sadly, this is actually one of the small minority this week that have actually concentrated on the colours. A nice photo and title. 7.

The color is excellent. THe clarity isn't really good on the grapes. I like the contrast with the leaves.
