This Beautiful photo has very little wrong with it. The vignetting in my humble opinion is the only thing that kept this from being a Blue ribbon. If it had been a litte darker, or a little finer I beleive you would have had your first of what i see as many Blue ribbons.

The composition is supurb.

Congratulations on you Red ribbon!!

Select with the elipse tool with a large feather, invert selection and apply gaussian blur. A lot of people tought it was overdone (wich I think they were right). I'm just happy it didn't kill it more !

Thanks everybody! For the votes and the heartwarming comments !

The gradation of the vignetting is a bit hard, but the simpleness of the scene is pleasing. Great sky. I know the topic is dreams, but I am sure I prefer it without the vignetting.

beautiful image, I know its a dream but I would like to see this image without the vignetting.....still gave it a ...10

This is really excellent. I could imagine that just about anything could happen in this dreamscape. I love the corners. I've done some experimentation with that style myself and I really like it. Except of course my pictures look like crap compared to this lovely peice of work! I won't be surprised to see this ribbon.

I particularly like the starkness of the clouds in the center and the softness of the clouds as they approach the edges.

I really like this shot. It looks simple at first glance, but the more I look at it, the more I love it. Definitely a top favorite for me! The clouds are beautiful, the lighting is fantastic. The tree.....the tree is just perfect. I know where I'm going to visit when I sleep tonight!

I like the composition and the clarity. I understand that the haziness around the corners is to give it a dream-like quality, but I feel that it may be a little overdone.

Nice in B&W

I enjoy this image, except the feathering. The clouds and tree are beautiful and dramatic and the landscape, at this size maybe a little dark... it works well though except the feathering. Even the frame is a plus.

i am not sure i am a fan of the fading grey WITH the black border. They seem to contradict eachother. I think i would like it with one or the other but not both. otherwise nice image with good blacks and whites.

Nice overall effect with the b/w, lonely sort of dream I guess

This is my second go-around =) - I love the picture and composition, however, the grey corners/edges are really really distracting! I think that it really takes away from the photo. I scored it a 7, if the edges were not grey then I would have given it a 9 or 10.

Ah, I have dreams of this nature! More regarding politics than personal life, but either way this photo really resonates with me. Aside from any statement or challenge, this is hands down a beautiful photograph. Congratulations on making such a lovely photo.

If I were to offer any advice for improvement (which is really unnecessary and possibly impossible! heh) I would rethink the faded corners (what's the name of that technique? heh). I think it only adds to this photo as it's for a Dream challenge.

beautiful sky, I don't really care for the soft focus corners, but I realize you did this to create the drim effect. Nice image.

Absolutely stunning! 10 (and I usually don't like b&w!!!)

My top pick. Ilike the composition and tones. Even though I usually favor borders - I think the black on this one is a bit too thick!!!

The detail in the clouds is very dramatic. You've got great contrast between the tree and the sky. A lower horizon may make the image even more dramatic.

The cloudy fades in the bottom corners could have been more delicately done. This is a great image but they (the dreamy fades)seem to act as a bit of a distraction. Nice job otherwise and I like the border.

the image itself is fabulous...what downgrades it for me is the borders and obvious gray added to corners..you didn't need it 5
