A shot from a Theatre Design by Gemma McCready.

Just walking out of the theatre this afternoon wondering what to shhot for "5" when I saw the manequin installation that my students had been rigging. Unfortunately there were 6 in the design. So a black jacket thrown over the bottom middle torso and a tweak in curves and levels lost it completely.

Very slight USM applied too

Shot in RAW, converted to 16bitt Tiff for adjustments, resized to 640, USM then save for web.

Very odd... Looks almost unreal. Am very curious as to how this was done. I like the concept and the lighting, and the title is great.

A really intriguing picture! It reminds me of when I was a visual merchandiser...when I used to change the mannequins, it really freaked alot of people out...others though it was one of the strangest things they had seen and just stood there and stared..and there were some who thought it was "dirty"...people are strange...just like this picture... a little strange, but in a good way! I'm very drawn to the torso in the middle top...I'd like to see that one alone, maybe placed somewhere in a vast black expanse...it's light and shadow are wonderful.
