Absolutely stunning. The colors of the flower are just breath taking. Your focus and your effective use of DOF makes this an interesting shot. I agree with one other commenter that the crop may work better as a square crop. I really can't see anything else that requires 'fixing'. This has all the ear marks of a professional shot.
Well done. |

I am split on this image. I LOVE the front flower. It's gorgeous. At the same time, with this color background, I HATE the out of focus image. Not sure what I'd do differently either...it's just that way. |

I like the background and the flower that's in focus. The shades of color go nicely. The flower in the back is a bit distracting though. |

Excellent colors! The red really stands out on the blue background. Wonderful detail. The shallow DOF works well. |

Nice idea. I think maybe 3 would have been better. I like the contrast between blue and red and the focus is nice. what if the front one would have been out of focus???? |

Lovely simple composition. I think I'd have cropped it square but still beautiful. 8 - floyd |

very nice. only improvement i might suggest is that the picture is a little tight, especially for the background image. |

Maybe croping part of the second flower of would look better, and put mroe emphisis on the first one. I'd have to try it. |

This one and "Snapdragons" are the best flower pictures IMHO. Very nice photo! |

This is beautiful... the soft color and the detail of the flower works nicely here... I also like the shallow depth of field... great shot :) - setzler |
