Some trees that were cut when we had some land cleared last winter. Flipped image 90 degrees to give it a more dynamic feel; then cloned out some tree trunks, curves for color, sharpened edges,unsharp mask, cropped and adjusted brightness/contrast.

an improved contrast would be better for this image, imho. the background provides a strong source of distraction, and shallower dof might be effective.

interesting comp. Good sharpness and clarity. It might have been good to have some depth behind the logs, but I wouldn't hold that against it because it seems arbitrary in this case.
