The arc's mirror image completes the circle. How perceptive of you. I love architecture shots and this is shot very well. The textures of the floor arebn't lost and actually makes the shot a bit more interesting ;) Gotta love this one. |

Thanks everyone! I think this is the most comments I've ever received!
I feel like a schmuck, because I uploaded the wrong image. This one works, sure, but the other one had the fixed horizon :p
Egads!
Ah well!
Oh, and yes, this was taken in the great hall on Ellis Island. :)

With the title, a perfect challenge fit. I wish the horizon were level, but maybe you intended it to be slightly at an angle, since it's a dream. |

I feel like I am leaning.... subject is quite good choice for "B&W" Good crisp image. As far as composition, a closer crop at the top might look good and help draw eyes into the gridwork and floor. |

First thought - seems tilted.
That out of the way I quite like the shot. The variations in patterns and distortions are great while the image as a whole gives a sort of "through the keyhole" impression despite it's obvious scale. The black & white treatment works well too. |

I'm sure I've seen a photo of this building before, nice subject but this one came out a tad too dark overall.... |

Great lighting and good subject matter for this challenge. There are always escape doors and there is always darkness. |

I like the detail in the floor. It really seems to lead the eye to the window. |

An excellent idea for the challenge! I would have given it a 10 if it had been level. -9- Best of luck! :) |
