Cliched image hurts your score. Show me something out of the box. Also show me the subject (guy) in a way that makes me care about him. Is he confident? Worried about his hand? Give me his emotions!

I appreciate the sharpness of the cards...nice job.

Interesting concept. The red is a little too red, and the eye is unnatural looking. I don't really care for the desturation, and the expression on his face is less 'stud' and more 'One more move and you're history'. However, having said that, I think that this photo could be tweaked a little and really work the way it was intended, IMO.

Creative and interesting - made me smile! Good use of selective saturation, clever wordplay in title. Well done.

I would have liked to see a bit more of the cards. It's somewhat hard to tell there are 5. Otherwise, the clarity of the cards is stunning! Good job.

Good effect with the color cards vs. b&w photo. Well achieved effect. The cards look crystal clear and really pop, but there is some grain in the background, especially noticeable in the black areas. Good crop and good lighting!

Nicely done. Not hugely attractive like for a wall hanging, but one of the more interesting shots in this challenge. Could be an ad for the World Poker Tournament with white text in the upper left corner.

Nice idea. How about more contrast in the background? Good focus and color on the foreground though.

I always thought you had the cards on the table when you played Stud Poker. This looks like draw poker. The cards are nice and sharp.

Is that a real person or a picture of someone's face?
