A whole bunch of dice, all showing 5. No, it wasn't just the luck of the roll :-)

To be honest I'm not too happy with this shot; the dice placement isn't great and it just lacks that 'wow' factor. But I need to push myself to enter more and maybe a painful 4.5 will bully me into taking more time!

Taken in the back garden, lit purely by sunlight.

Cliche. DOF makes my teeth hurt.

Black and white was a good choice here. I think a deeper depth of field might have brought more life to the shot. Some of the edges of the white dice are getting lost in the background. Good composition. Overall, a good shot.

Actually, the probability is (1/6 ^ 23) which is 1 in 789370-trillion :)

nice idea...dof is a little too shallow though imho

A good idea, but nothing really seems to be in focus here. A deeper DOF and a bit more contrast would have helped this image in my opinion.

no 1 in 5 billion? :)
I like the use of shallow DOF, but this does seem a little overexposed.

Like your title!

The angle of this photo is too high for the shallow DOF you've decided on, IMO. I think either a deeper DOF, or lowering the angle would have been more effective.

Nice B&W toning.

I would've focused on the dice in the centre foreground rather than the 2 at the right, but good idea, nicely done.

Actually it is 1 in 4,738,381,338,321,616,896 ... or very close to 1 in 5 million billion, a title that would better fit the challenge and be valid. :) Very nicely done image. Good use of DOF. I recommend cloning out the minor hot spots on the corners of a few of the dice.

Yatzee! My problem with this is the focus. Even the front ones look a little out of focus. Do you use unsharp mask after resizing? It makes a huge difference on my photos. Also, I'd have cloned out the hotspots on the black dice given that it was an advanced editing challenge.

Nice work, I would suggest a little more dof would sharpen up the image, well done
