I do not like asking friends to do these kind of poses which bring no credit to them and so I do them alone and what a pain they are at times. This means I suffer alone. lol
I had to shoot this with low lighting to get the desired effect which is not spectacular but merely controlled for my desired effect. This meant using a 100 watt for the main and then two colored lights to light a party ball. The spill of the red and blue lights rounds out the tones but does not help the red card.

Spot on focus, lighting and subject detail. Great quality picture. Deserved a better score.

Cliched image doesn't help you. Next time, show me something out of the box. Otherwise the photo is a good workmanlike image. Technically well done.

I very much like the clarity, sharpness and contrast of this photo. The lighting is great, too.

Good clean shot! Great sharp focus on the cards and hand. The lighting seems a bit bright on the fingertips, but very minor in comparison with all of the good things about this shot :-) The cards are well lit and the contrasts look good. Would be curious to know what it looks like in color, even though I think I prefer the B&W for this.
