| Colorful background. Composition is dead center - perhaps could have been helped by keeping the rule of thirds in mind. |

| it's a nice subject, but the differently colored pebbles in the background could scatter some viewers' attention. generally, this would be more effective with more focus on the starfish and less on the background. |
