Greetings from the Critique Club!
I concur with all of the compliments below! This is a funky picture of a blue banana! Many folks below expressed their displeasure for extremes of what is probably post-shot manipulation, but I figure that as long as you pushing levels, you may as well go all the way! But not if you want to win, I guess.
First, from this shot I get a feeling of fun and quirkiness. It is well composed with the banana positioned very well in the frame. The extreme contrasts go well with the extreme feeling you want to convey. Turn on the disco lights and let's boogie!
As far as it goes, I can't see much in this image to fix. If you wanted a more "natural" look, I'm sure you fiddled with it enough to get such. I think this image is true to itself and with what it wants to be. It is nothing really profound, but for an engaging romp, this photo takes us there.
From looking at your other images, I can see that you are exploring new ground, and that's always a good thing!
I look forward to seeing more good work from you in the future!
Thanks,
David |

Clever idea and exectution. There's probably too much white, but good imagination. |

I don't really understand the point of making this blue. I think if you'd left it yellow, it would have been a fine picture but making it blue ruined it for me. |

A blue banana just doesn't do it for me. Adjusting controls to extreme levels, in my opinion, has a purpose in art, but not in this case. Not only is it unnatural, but also made it grainy and unpleasing to the eye. |

I'm sorry but this just doesn't do anything for me. I would be interested to see a real clear shot of a perfect bannana in its natural state done with the same composition. 4 |

Great colored banada, but just slightly over done for my liking. |

Was this done in "negative" mode? |

It seems overexposed on one end and underexposed on the other - weird shade for this subject - maybe if you did it with a whole pile of fruit (orange, banana, apple, grapes?) |

props you can eat. well done, i like the blue, but overall its a little over exposed - like the soft edge on the lower left end of the banana. a yellow background might have been a neat twist. |

Oh wow! Hee hee! I like it, but I think less of an outside white boarder would have been better. |
