| this is an achievment that ill be striving for forever. I love shooting food, and the light needed for photos like this tend to brighten up my background. good dark background and lighting to show detail. I knew right away that this wasn't taken with your 20D. but still a good focused macro. |

| Quite a reaction here to the OOF rim of the pepper. For the record it was intentional, done with gaussian blur. I didn't like how this looked when tack-sharp all the way, the rimw as taking too much emphasis from the inside. Thanks all for commenting. |

| slight off focus on the rim of the pepper lessens the impact of this otherwise very nice composition. The background choice is nice, the details of the inside is good. The lighting is very good. But again, focus is one issue here. Bumping to 7 to fix my voting curve :) |

| I'm quite surprised we did not see more of this but it goes to show you are imaginative. The compositon is excellent but I'm seeing a little weakness in the focus. Either way, I gave you a 6. Good luck! |

| This is a very creative take on the challenge, and pictured really appealingly. The black background really makes the greens look vivid! And your border brings out the pop even more. I love it! |

| Simple image like this needs to be sharper than this with more detail and less grain - these could have been fixed in PS, I think. |
