 This is a shot of some grass that is in water, put on its side.
The wind was providing small ripples on the water, and it wasn't until I got into post that I came up with the idea of making the grass and its reflection into birds.
I did heavy levels adjustments to make the grass really dark, got rid of the saturation to make it B&W, and cropped, rotated.

This is really interesting. Looks rather abstract. I hope that others are not thrown off by the rotation. It's a clever idea. The triangles are not clear and may cause it to be marked down by the purists out there. I like much - 9

Ha, I get it! I looked at your image a long time but finally see the water and plants sticking out! I like it better as birds. They look like otherworldy creatures. Thanks for something different!

I find this image beautiful. I like both the background and foreground. There's something rather unreal about it and I am still trying to figure out what sort of birds they could be with my very limited knowledge on them. Well done.

Took a minute for me to see the reeds in the water, not bad, but the water (sky) looks odd.
