Challenge: Triangle (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Olympus D-550Z
Location: My kitchen.
Date: May 9, 2005
Galleries: Urban, Still Life
Date Uploaded: May 9, 2005

I used a mounted enlargement of a bridge photo I took as a background and placed a shell on a black piece of fabric in front of it. Using natural light coming from the left, I blocked some light with a piece of tilted matboard. This caused a line to form on the shell, making the bottom of the triangle. I had my macro function on and my flash function off. I used a Tiff setting, adjusting exposure -0.5, and spot focus.

I think the picture is too grainy the highlight on the right is distracting.

This is difficult to decipher.

Yes, if I look hard enough I can find at least one triangle in the image however the main subject or composition does not say triangle to me.

edit: the composition is not working and I don't know what to suggest, maybe a wider angled shot to give more context.

This seems over processed. Highlights are blown out and very distracting.
