Taken at the bottom of the sixth inning of a little league softball game. I was losing my light and my husband was playing with our son. So I noticed the positioning of the sun behind them and took a few shots. I fell in love with this one and will definitely be enlarging and framing this for my office.

this is a great idea, but i think it would have done better if you had had a slightly different perspective. maybe just a little lower and around to the right, so that there would have been a hint more of an outline on the subjects.

This is awesome, sepia like tones.

Nice pose. I think you could've cropped off some of that black on the bottom, as well as gotten a lower camera angle to bring the father out of those trees.

It's too bad that you couldn't get a better angle so that the father and son had more sky behind them to silhoutte more of their bodies. The focus also appears crisper on the trees behind the subjects. Still a nice image and the silhouttes still provide some details to allow you to get a feel for the expressions on their face. Good luck.

Always heartwarming situation. Not too thrilled about the strong yellow light but than again it´s a silhoutte and that´s what is needed, great shot

For me the picture is good, for a over view point , if the time of day was later. Putting the sun father down, I think you could have blocked the sun With no trees this image would have been far greater. This only from me, bumping up

Red filter in photoshop or on camera would have made this a 10 for me.

This lovely idea suffers from too much extraneous background spoilers. Also, there seems to be too much bottom. 4

great-less trees would have made this a better shot.

It is a great subject for a silhouette. The pose and colors are good, but the trees are a bit distracting, would like to see more of the bodies.

Nice, a bit to much dark forcing the subjects to vanish and focus seems soft on as well. Otherwise a wonderful photo. 8
