This is Melissa, my once again, easiest to work with model, though Ellie is coming along, LOL :)

This was taken at Eldridge Park here in Elmira and I saw this telephone box with the cut off pole and the location and such made me think of Karate Kid. So Terry helped her get up, we scooched her around and then I had her strike the pose. She had never seen the movie so I don't think she did too badly.

I then adjusted the levels, darkened overall just a bit, adjusted the blue to a little darker, added the border and badda bing, badda boom, there you have it.

Ways I could make this better is to get her more the clothing for Karate or even get a karate student to pose for me, hey, wait a minute, I know a student........ nah, LOL, just kidding.

Very nice reprise of Karate Kid. A strong image marred somewhat by excessive noise and an overly heavy border.

Woo hoo Karate Kid. Very well done silhouette. I can image the model whas not very steady and that getting the crisp outline was a bit tricky. Wonderfull silhouette and a great sunset. Very nice job 9

Feels a tad bit confined. A little more negative space to the right of the subject would help.

The double border isn't to my taste, and I feel that the black part is too thick. The action and composition are fine, and I like the colours in the bottom section. 5

With the title and the photograph, it looks like one of those stupid
posters they would hang up in the schools. Nice Shot.
