Walking in Portsmouth, shooting everything in sight because it was a beautiful day and I'm trying to build the stock portfolio.
As I focus on a building across the street, Quinn huffs, 'Dude, turn around. There's your apple!'
Left thumb to wheel on Shutter Priority (1/800 preset for stopping moving targets). He's closing fast and the 70-200 may be too big. Spin barrel while holding shutter in one-half...beep AF is locked. Click.
'Mind if I use your image in a photo contest?'
His pace never slowed, nor did he look back to ask to see the shot. 'Hmmph, s'pose,' was all I caught as the elusive girlfriend closed ranks with him again and they increased the distance from the madman with the camera.

I don't get it... I guess I'm having a blonde moment :P I'm guessing that the tail-lights and stop-lights really popping out like that are due to digital processing. What I like best is the expression on the guy's face: "Ya man, I got an apple." The crop-job is pretty great, too. |
