I think this is an awesome idea to play around with. Might be a nice subtle way to do a nude shot as well. Like the other commenters, I agree the background is the biggest distraction here, with the sags and wrinkles. The lighting isn't bad, but I would try different poses as well. I might have to try this sometime. |

I do like the mellow light in this and agree with your own comments. I also think you should have lost the clothes to smooth your form more and create a sense of pure harmony and natural state. |

Well, this was my first contest and I didn't bomb as bad as I thought I would. I have never in my life done a sihouette!! All of the comments where VERY helpful. I should have gotten infront of the sheet, not behind it. It probably would have helped if I would have ironed it too! HA! It was actually hanging over two kitchen chairs.
Even though I didn't get in the top half of the entries, I am surprised I didn't get in the bottom 10! I will do better next time! GOD BLESS all of you who gave me over a 5 for this one, you are too nice. And whoever gave me a 10, I love you. |

Concept: Shadow on foredrop, not really a sil, but acceptable. What hurts this is that the sheet is all too present with its wrinkles and own shadows. The Meditative pose itself could be a winning image, but it does not seem natural or well placed in the image. |

Good idea though I´m not sure it´s very original. Needs better lightning and also recomend that you iron your sheet before trying this again. |

Seeking the light! Very nice effort with subtle toning. The only improvement I can offer is matching symmetry of the hands. Everything else is expertly thought out to impart a state of rest and peace. 7 |

This photo has a unique feel to it. I like the pose and the silhoutte. I feel this was a very creative shot. My only complaint would be the wrinkles in the blanket. nice shot. 7 |

The sheet is too distracting. |

The bacground sheet lets this image down .. when using a sheet like this try using an iron over it first and what I have found works not bad is lights from the font onto the sheet but not the subject |

The concept is great! A different angle of the subject to catch more curvature of form would make this outstanding. 9 |
