 tried some different lighting with this, liked this the best.

it will surely lose marks because of the multiple apples, even though the subject is 'apple'. c'est la vie.

unsharp mask, contrast/brightness adjustment, border. neat imaged to reduce noise caused by slightly longer exposure with my sd110 as a result of no flash.

Cute idea, but the straight line doesn't spark interest. Maybe if the apples were grouped together as if talking - with the red apple slightly (!) beyond the group's edge?

I really like how you positioned the apples, it almost looks like the two green apples on the right are conversing. Great subtle setup!

I like this because it looks like the four apples are using the urinals (shoulda been somehow incorporated into shot) and the red apple (the widest/fattest) is embarrased because of his weight problem (or something else) the two green apples on the right look like they're whispering to each other as if they are planning to pants/peel him in front of the cheerleading squad, and then put a padlock on his locker and fill it with cheese. I miss high school.
