 DPC voters may crucify me for this image. And yes, while many opportunities are abundant to capture natural images, this is simply an image that can never be seen unless conjured by taking advantage of the silhoutte to help out the illusion. Hate me, I can take it and let the purist vote his ones and twos. lol

These are simple unfinished cutouts since their purpose is only the silhoutte. The background was made in ps and rear projected to bring out the silhoutte.

behind the head cut out, which is only a piece that balances on the head and the beak part sweeps down over nose. Here a cutout of eye with the iris (a washer) some orange acetate and then a small flashlight to bring out the glow of the eye. Normal processing.

Reminds me of the movie Bram Stokers Dracula.

I see the physicians symbol and the yonx. Not sure what the rest of it means. But it is very well done.

This is very unique.
When it comes to making different and interesting photos, you are second to nobody Daniel.
Your preparation time for each challenge must exceed an hour everytime, great work.

Strange and pretty cool. The hands seems to be human, adds strenght to the image. And the eye is very stranges and draw your attention instnatly. Very good.

I don't know what to make of this thing, but it is strangely appealing. It is a TRUE silhouette - NO detail despite the fact that there must be seams, i.e. going from a man's hands and arms, at some point over to a mask of some sort (unless you really look like that, you poor thing).
Fascinating and wildly imaginative, certainly keeps me coming back for another look. Well done!
