Challenge: Apple (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon PowerShot A510
Location: Home
Date: May 15, 2005
Aperture: F/3.5
ISO: 50
Shutter: 1 sec.
Galleries: Abstract, Still Life
Date Uploaded: May 14, 2005

The apple was set in-between two mirrors (one big and one small, so i can hold the camera above the smaller one) to create an effect of multiple apples all lined up, I slightly angled the smaller mirror to create a curved reflection.

I guess the focus was kinda soft because the first apple that you see in the picture is actually the reflection of the original apple which is not in the picture. Because if I had the focus on the original apple, I won't be able to capture the effect of the reflection of the mirror.

Thanks for your vote :o)

I really like this shot. Focus is good. A great composition. A nice line formed by the row of apples and the seams. I also really like the lighting approach you've used. A good balanced feel between the blue and the shadow, split on a nice vertical by the apples. Nice job.

this is all good but where is the focus? This is just not sharp, and they has to wonder around the shot. The blue floor is maybe not the best with the bright over head lighting.
