| This one would be much better if the area around the egret(?) wasn't as busy. As it stands now it's difficult to separate the bird from the vegetation. |

| Excellent black and white, smoothing and control of sharpening to prevent jaggedness in the whites is well done, no matter how it was achieved. The shades work well in defining the bird and its size dominates enough of the photo to negate the business of the items around it. 9 |
