Concept: Good subject, very bad background choice.
Composition: The screen would have been better cropped to show no evidence of the window sill.
Challenge: Yes, definitely, but the background is so harshly lit and ultimately ugly as to detract from the potential that this image could have achieved.

It would have been better if you had cropped the top a bit lower to get rid of the black in the upper left corner. Also the screen is a bit distracting.

A tighter crop to eliminate the window sill (?) would have made this a bit more effective, I believe.

The sun is in the perfect place for this photo. It would have been better without the screen I think.

The texture of the screen is very distracting as well as the way the window cuts into the top of the picture.
