Arctic? Almost looks like this was taken in the desert. It just turned out perfectly having it in B/W, I think the black and white really adds to it. Great Job. |

I like this one a lot. I'm intrigued as to where this was taken considering the time of the year. Must be in altitude. |

Great shot, looks like something out of an old National Geographic magazine. Something flying in the air on top left but unusually gives the photo an extra charm. Is this really snow or perhaps sand dunes, looking forward to finding out :) |

I like the setting of this picture, but there are some distracting scratches in the left part of the picture like dirt on your optics or sensor? |

Oooh. I love this one! The black and white works great! Being from Texas, snow pictures really appeal to me. I love how simple it is -- and I love how you can see little snow flakes in the sun. |

This is a beautiful picture, but its Spring (at least here in the states). Of course I'm voting the picture high, but get away from that cold weather and enjoy the sun where its warm, geeez. |

i like the composition here very much, including the pose and backgrounding. what are probably snow flakes driven by the wind (nice addition to the overall ambiance) could be mistaken for scratches on a pane of glass through which this image was shot. For that aspect to be more effective, I'd wish for clearer "snow" or none at all. Still, I'm impressed by the textures represented here, the contrast control, the shadow and angling, etc. Originally a 7, but I'll bump to 9 within a field of shots filled with many very good ones. Thanks. |

Just out of interest, what are all the small marks in the sky? Is it snow blowing? |

I really like this shot but it looks to me like you artificially darkened the man. The figure is too uniformly dark and there is a tell tale white spot on his thigh. |
