| This is one of those shots that apears more like digital art than photography to me. If that was your aim -- congrats. Doesn't do a lot for me on any level, but I am impressed that you got it sliced so thin. good luck in the challenge |

I'm sorry, I don't get it. I don't get the title, I don't get the subject, (yes, I know it's an apple...) I don't get why you processed it this way... Guess I'm dense.

| it's a very nice photo, but the most interesting part is the texture of the apple slice, which contradicts the idea of a silhouette. Perhaps would be much better for the apple challenge? :) |

| The light behind this is too harsh, makes the edges appear over sharpened. |
