 Technically, this is jetsam, not flotsam :)

During the 13 second exposure, small waves were lapping over the apple. In order to keep it from rolling around, I literally nailed it to the beach with a 7 inch nail!

Post processing: neat image, rotate, crop, auto levels, resize, unsharp mask, save for web.
