 Taken in raw against the sun but didn't get much silhouette. Had to increase shadows, then played with levels.

How much fun! I love the silhouette. That used to be my younger son's favorite ride.

Great shot! I took some shots like this a few months ago at Navy Pier, but none of them was even close to being as good as this!

They're sort of chain-like so they look this way in the photograph.

I thought this image was going to ribbon or be top 5. It is an outstanding capture and highly underated. Congratulations on your top 20 finish.

What an enjoyable scene..except..there are empty chairs.. a broken saftely belt flapping in the wind and a girl sceaming hysterically as she reaches back too late..or not.. nice catch.

glancing through the entries, this one really caught my eye. I imagine it will do very well. Love the slight detail remaining in the silhouettes and the color of the yellow chair.

There were a few pics that showed some form of amusement ride. This, I think, really captures the spirit you would expect from an amusement park. Very nice shot indeed!

Great idea. There's just too many swings for me. I know it would have been almost too much work, but cloning out the empty swings and the child that overlaps behind the other and this would be a really cool pic.
