While it appears that this was very carefully composed, I'd tather see the shot without the metal bar in the foreground- and while I understand you were specifically shooting for this lighting effect, what it does to your subject- or any subject for that matter- leaves the photo looking grainy, washed out and unappealing. Perhaps another composition with more controlled light would have worked better. |

The lens flare does nothing for this image, and if you arent careful you can damage your sensor if you point it straight into the sun. |

i now that light is suppowed to be the subject ...i just find this a bit too harsh |

I like the irony but there's a ittle too much glare here. I've had some success with a polorized filter. |

Too snappy to me, no real subject, too grainy, uninteresting sunflares, et al. |

There is a harsh glare in the lower left hand corner that distracts me. Also the sun's glare does as well.
From my experience, photos with a grainy effect (altho it may be entirely intentional) do not do well. Good luck.
