Thanks for the comments, they are all appreciated. I was happy to see that the picture invoked a few heartfelt feelings. Not the cutest animal on our planet, I must agree!
This picture has also given me my highest number of tens for any picture and is certainly a PB on the percentile rating, moving me into the top 20%, woohoo! Still trying to break that six, though. Maybe granular... |

| I LOVE IT! The crispness of the snail and grass are fabulous. The vertical lines in the head of the snail flow with the vertical lines of the apple and grass while the disorderly horizontal blades of grass, the stripes on the snails shell, and the blurred horizontal lines of the structure in the background are subtle but intricate contrasts that have made this photo fantastic! I enjoyed the true presence of texture which draws your viewer into this clever picture. I also enjoyed that only a few hues were made present in this entire picture which are blended spledidly but adds a touch of something familiar for the viewer. A pure pleasure to look at. Your title is adorable as well! Great work. |
