 A fun challenge entry I think. I adjusted the levels, a slight crop, that's about all. Everything else was done during the shoot...ah the magic of painting with light. The image in the background is one of my textile projects. I drew an image on a metal plate, etched it with acid, inked it, printed in on fabric I had monoprinted...all using an intaglio press. I think the the whole image turned out pretty neato...and the title...A sad and haunting song.

There most likely isn't a website on how to do intaglio printmaking...it's so hands on...chemicals, presses, ink, metal printing plates etc...I looked but I couldn't find one... I did have a good page that explains printmaking processes here.

I immediately recognized the title as a song title. I love this song by Billie Holiday. Very nice Connection. Although the words have a different meaning, but that just would not do well to portray that at all.
