You all are probably going to hate this image. I see brown in my future! Nope - not even good enough for brown. But - it is my own. I had a great time with this - I was in my backyard trying to figure out what to do with an apple a swing, some ducks, whatever I could find. This is a shot of the apple on the swing. I have NO idea where I was going with that one. Anyway, my dog STOLE my apple! It was round and in the yard so I guess he figured it was his. End of the apple photoshoot, though I do have some images of my dog (K-9 Orin) that I will put in portfolio after the challenge. He actually ate it. Strange dog.
So, I rotated, cropped, levels, brightness, desaturate, USM, blur, resize, submit.
Why submit it? I like the image personally. Kind of like the worm bites back. the stem is what I was focusing on in this shot. You all may or may not agree.

After the challenge:
Wow! I did better than I thought. Thanks - and thanks for the comments.
After looking at this image all week in thumbnail size, I decided that it looked like a pregnant belly with an alien popping out. Seems one other person saw that too. Which means there is one more person out there as weird as I. :)
Wish I knew what more people were thinking. I got a couple of 10s - maybe they too have my weirdness. Maybe its contagious. Naaahhhh... |

Please note that your apple has the stem that bears a striking resemblence to the thing that pops out of people in "Alien" |

I personally don't care for the sideways orientation of this shot. |
