If the light, tone and texture of the apple had matched the vibrance seen in that of the machine, this would be a strong ribbon contender. You focused on the rearward gears instead of the apple. And the light was too near the very reflective surface of the subject, which was blownout somewhat. Your idea was great and unique in this 400+ photo challenge. |

An interesting shot with a little piece of history which adds interest for me , the background is nicely out of focus as well 9 |

Great shot but would have been much better if you had taken the time to make a different background. Maybe a white sheet? If not, you could also have blurred the background more by using a bigger aperture. 6 points from me. |
