| GLORIOUS IMAGE. I stared at this for a long time. Completely powerful. I have no clue what is so beauitful about this picture. The dusky-gold lighting maybe? And the low key? I haven't the faintest clue, but this is beautiful. Fabulous, unbelievable shot. |

I agree...it was one of my tens and it is a very striking image. Love the lighting, colors and detail and the subject stands out well. Centering was a great way to go. Congrats on your top 20 finish. |

cannot really feel robt:) with all these nice comments of praise and im so happy with the favourites
in this regard i like to mention i produced some new (improved) versions the day after
wich i personally like some more..
for everyone who had chosen this as a favourite i dont mind u switching it to one of them improved versions
for those who find having trouble with the centered position (was thinking hommage..hmm..might be a fine reason to break 'the rule')
there is a non-centered in my portofolio
its nice to have them compared anyway because this centered 'rule'
seems so very 'sturdy'

Nice work with the dried flowers, it has a painting feeling!
The only thing maybe...I'm not completely sure about the centered position of the apple...Good capture in any case! :) |

Not many centered compositions have a real impact as this one.

I must say, I love this shot. Even in thumbnail form, my eye was drawn to it.
Colors are warm and inviting, invokes memories of christmas and apple cider :)

| I really love the colors in this image...makes me think of autumn. It has a very "painterly" quality about it...also, It has a bit of a Victorian quality too...could it be the roses? The colors? Very romantic. |

| There are so many things I like about this shot and I guess none I don't like. I give it an 8. Not a 9 or 10 because it's reserved for something special special special. But who knows If nothing else fits the space than I will bump it up. |

| This is what photography is about for me. This looks more real than life itself. While the subject is not overly interesting and the photo a little dark, the detail is v. impresive. I love the quality of the apple. It also looks like the apple deserves to be on a bed of roses -> it hasn't just been placed there. 9. |
