 A last minute entry just for laughs. I hollowed out three apples with a grapefruit spoon and placed Christmas lights inside them. I bit into one of them and poked a Gummi worm through the apple.

Processing: Crop, slight levels adjustment and USM- that's it.

I have no idea how it'll score, but the illuminated apples were cool (I'm easily amused). ;-)

as always, great idea. i think this would have scored higher if the hand had been posed more as 'eww' than cradling it for another bite.

You can just see the edge of the white power cord between the two apples on the left.

Thanks for the info on how you did this. I took a similar approach, but I was stopped by technical and compository problems. Your image turned out much better. I will try some more experiments with glowing fruit though. They are fun.

This is a very cool shot! Great idea and image..lighting is really interesting, too..8 I like the worm coming out of the apple on the right, too- it adds a lot to the image.

i wish i was a glowworm, for a glowworm is never glum, cause how can you be grumpy when the sun shines out your bum?

Hate to sink my teeth here. A bite will light me up like a Christmas tree. The dark stone allow the apples to shine/glow. A good presentation. 8 on my first pass.

Hey, you stole my idea ;) At least you did a better job than me. Looks good, I like the red glow, it doesn't work as well with green ones. What did you use as light source? I see no wires. 10.
