Took this shot at 22:45, way too late to submit. Still, I wanted to share it and see what others would think about it.
I only cropped it and added a border. Not even levels... lost interest when I realized it is past midnight in EST

Personally I like the un-even partition deviders. I find it to be a lot more interesting then the common very accurate triptych.
I like the idea and would love to see that one after a proper editing of the colors. There's a weird yellowing cast on the image which I don't really like.
I agree with rgo about the shadow of the third part on the middle. It's a bit annoying.
But other then that, I guess I would vote a 7 on this one in the challenge.

Nice series of pics. Would like to see maybe more shine to the apples?

Cleaner/straighter partitioning would help the image be more effective, imho. I like the originality of the idea, and appreciate how you actually set it up and shot it. Shadow from the third apple casting onto the second cubicle is a bit of an issue, as that shatters the illusion of three separate compartments. I'd also probably would have looked for two apples that look more alike to each other for the first two. I like the way you bordered this to enchance the illusion that they're in three compartments.
