I love this shot, agree about the eye needing a bit of lightening. A tutorial that was given to me from this site has helped me on occasion with this type of thing, if you dont already know it maybe give it a try Shadow/Highlight Tutorial |

Beautiful rich tones - terrific capture. I agree about possibly editing to bring out the horse's eye a bit more (at least I'd give it a shot to see what it looks like, and you're a master at processing eyes!).

This is wonderful. The hidden face gives it a mystery. Love the blonde mane. Great title. This is a beautiful and different take on an equine portrait! Love it. |

The only thing I would try to improve on this photo is to provide more fill light on the horse's face. I can't see his eyes, even if they are mostly obscured by his mane. You might be able to brighten the dark areas of his face in software. Composition is very nice - interesting point of view - over another horse's back. |
