 Did you know that rock is simply petrified sand and minerals? Did you know that sand is simply disintegrated rock? So, are you gonna dismiss my entry because it doesn't depict a beach or a salt shaker? Probably...but I hope someone or maybe many someones like this picture. This is the view I get to enjoy at my leisure and I wanted to show you. Thanks.

Great landscape and beautiful colors, but it doesn't really fit the challenge IMO.

An interesting take on the challenge. I think I would have cut out a bunch of sky in this picture. The big expanse of blue doesn't add much and weakens the composition.
