 the lighting for this was my closed with the light on and the door open just a crack to let a line of light hit me. I was sitting in a chair and holding as still as I could to counteract the 5 second shutter speed.

post processing- curves, levels, deaturate, contrast, crop, resize

cloaked in shadow to the extent that there's not much details, and the image is very, very soft. Either your focus point was way, way off, or you neatimaged this to death. 3.

Lighting is important in this timeless photograph. The composition is good and the soft focus adds drama and tension.

Very subtle and soft. I think if the focus was a little tighter it would have a better picture.

I really like the idea here. I think it could have been better executed technically. The lighter portions of the image are quite gray and what we can see if the eye doesn't have enough detail to really draw me into the photo. The figure is definitely cloaked in shadow- too much so for my tastes.
