No trick Ben..no multi layer shenanigans either...just late evening sun and a hungry herd.
Pic produced using a "VP" filter customised to suit the effect I wanted..all very simple.
I think that my special placing in your commenting order should be marked in some way.. I`ll settle for a pint sometime!

Thanks for the comment Thamer, and the answer to your question is ..yes,
I have an alternative version with more sky, less foreground but IMO it doesn`t have the same impact.It tends to draw the eye away from the subject.

Really like the tone here, gives it a lot of mood. Nice foreground too. Have you tried another composition with more sky and less foreground?
