| Gorgeous portrait. The color version is better to showcase the light. Very photogenic girls. The one on the left has Angelina Jolie lips. Too bad you didn't get their contact info, I'm sure they'd love a copy of this. |

I didn't get a chance to vote on this challenge, but after seeing the black and white, I'm glad that you chose to enter the color. THis is a great image with some emotion behind it. They're sisters, but for a minute there, you wonder (hope?) if they're truly blood sisters, or just call each other that to get looks.
I think your title may have done you some harm. I also think in Beauty you might have gone up several more places in rank.
I love the lighting, and the eyes on both girls. I think what many people are missing is the mood the picture looses without the color. Again, good choice in bringing in the color.
If I was voting, would have been a 9. Better might have been less stray hair, and a better background. The color changes are slightly distracting. |

| have to say this is a good definition of lighting. almost no shadows, skin tones light. I think that it just lacks the "strike image" and not that that would change the focus of the contest. |

the models are pretty and the image is nice
too bad about that 'screaming' title lay-out
checked it on my own computer
maybe it isnt that bad after all the title lay-out
would not be surprised if this is a Elsapo production (where the beauties seem to line up for him to take an image :)

| Very well lit. I'd like a touch more space below the lowest earring. I could also use a breath of space above the first girl's hair. If they're meant to be sisters (they do bear a resemblence) then the sexuality is a turnoff and offensive to me. If they're meant to be lovers, I think it's a very nice shot. |

| nice lighting overall, maybe a touch more hair light would be nice. Skin tones seem to have a pink cast to them. |

| The challenge was to use light in a creative way that makes if a key element. While light is always key, I don't feel like you used it in a creative way and I don't even feel like this is lit as well as it could be. I do think that the facial expressions and posing is very good, but I think your light source is to low and lighting up at the girls. Had you brought your souce up more I think the shadows on the faces would be more appealing. Please don't take this the wrong way because the lighting is decent, but I think it could be improved. |

I think you got the wrong challenge... don't these ladies belong in BEAUTY?!? Simply Gorgeous!
As for this image in this challenge... I was hoping to see light (or variations of light) play a bigger role. And while I agree these gals are well lit, there isn't much in the way of "lighting as a key element" to the picture.
One more thing, on a pose like this ... have them pull their heads apart just slightly so that they don't actually touch. I think you'll find that it improves each one by providing slight separation and by avoiding deforming their facial features.
I'm scoring a 7 for now. I may be back later to bump it up depending on what everyone else is doing for lighting. Good luck in the challenge! |
