| The textures on the wall and corn really make this shot (emphasized by the lighting, of course). I'm not sure I'm sold on the vertical crop, but it does work nicely. |

| I love this however I don't think it fits the theme. Yes the light on the corn is special but I still don't see that light is the subject of this image any more than it always is in a photograph. I'm giving this a 6 because it is a fine photograph with an elegant richness in color. |

| I like the lighting in this still life; it appears to have a painterly quality, similar to the lighting Rembrandt used..don't let this comment go to your head!..haha..great picture with lovely soft complimentary tones...9 |

| Astounding effect . It's like a old painting where some colors disapeared in time. Is this effect only made with the lighting or helped a bit (or more) with post processing? , anyway a great picture for me. 10 |

This is truly gorgeous! I'm am actually almost speechless...the tones, the palette, the light...exquisite...10
Part 2: This is still absolutely magnificent... for me, it reminds me of a tarnished "Old Masters" painting/masterpiece...it has a completely interesting sooty...almost metallic quality about it...I actually want to buy a print of this... it has totally moved me...again, a very fine job. |

| Very painterly- excellent effect. I might have shot it fom a slightly different angle, lowering the camera to be a bit more level with the corn. I also might have lightened it up just a tad, but that's strictly a matter of personal taste. Still an 8. |

| I really like how vivid the corn is in contrast with the subtle shades that surround it. This image has a "high quality" feel to it... something you would pay big $$$ to hang on your wall. Excellent shot, good luck in the challenge! |
